Building and working with a diverse team, who have a huge variety of skills and experience. Seeing the passion of our advisers, and the enthusiasm of the businesses whom we’ve helped to start and grow.
When it’s my turn to buy the biscuits, I’m choosing:
Jammy dodgers, malted milk or Rich Tea – all great for dunking. But if I want to impress, some kind of chunky chocolate and nut offering.
The person I most admire is:
Roger Federer – he’s not only at the top of his profession, but he’s still breaking records at an age when he should be retiring ! not only that, but he speaks five languages, seems to be a great dad, and is forever gracious, in victory or defeat.
And of course Steve Jobs – committed, creative and cool to the very end.
In life, I’m inspired by:
So many things – our team, my family, my pets and generally anybody who works hard to achieve their goals, especially when times are tough.
A little known fact about me is:
I’m terrified of slugs, especially the brown ones. Even the sight of them makes me queasy… probably because many years ago I accidentally stood on one and it exploded !!
