We’re looking for a full-time Gateway Advisor to join our team! Our Gateway Advisor will provide the initial point of contact at the Growth Hub for locally based businesses seeking business support in the form of information, advice, guidance and /or funding.

Job Summary
To provide the initial point of contact at the Growth Hub for locally based businesses seeking business support in the form of information, advice, guidance and /or funding.
• To contribute to and support business and social enterprise creation, survival, growth and development by being a first point of contact for established businesses/social enterprises seeking support to help them address their enterprise needs and/or meet their organisational objectives.
• To engage with clients (remotely) on both an inbound and outbound basis; to holistically determine their business situation, stage, issues, challenges and objectives to help highlight needs and subsequently prioritise the action to be taken.
• To provide the clients with information, advice and guidance they need as and where appropriate; work with clients to determine their priorities and the next steps/action to be taken and introduce clients to the services and support available from the Growth Hub, its delivery partners and any relevant service providers as appropriate in accordance with their business stage and needs.
• To provide an initial source of information about appropriate ERDF part-funded projects, explaining project processes and any potential benefits to enquiring clients.
Salary: £26,495 pa + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 5% emp pension
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible working applications are welcome.
Contract Type: This contract will initially be until 31 March 2020, extension will be subject to continued government funding
Will Report to: Growth Hub Operations Manager
Location: Office based in Northampton.
