The Export for Business Growth event will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. At the event, experienced business advisers will focus on everything from developing a business overseas to financing export contracts before holding a question and answer session. The event will also have a number of guest speakers, with each one focusing on a specific topic.
Next month the Growth Hub will partner with Google Digital Garage on Thursday, April 26 for a session on digital marketing and how it can be used to maximise business expansion. The Social Media Strategy and Digital Advertising workshop will concentrate on how social media can help reach new audiences and turn them into valuable customers.
The session will also examine how new customers can be attracted by optimising their Google presence as well as the benefits of advertising on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Malcolm Johnston, Head of Enterprise at Northamptonshire Growth Hub, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with these two organisations to help deliver these workshops which are designed to provide innovative tips on how entrepreneurs can grow their business.
“Nationally the vast majority of businesses say that exporting has allowed them to grow at rates which otherwise would not be possible while Digital Marketing is one of the most common areas we get asked for advice about.”
Northamptonshire Growth Hub is a collaboration between The University of Northampton and Northamptonshire County Council. It provides a range of free services to businesses at any stage of their development, comprehensive and unbiased advice from business plan preparation to individual one-to-one sessions or the signposting of companies to the most relevant provision.
