The IoD East of England awards is an established event, which celebrates the very best of the regions business leaders. These awards are recognition for the key role that directors play, not only in the UK’s economy but also in job preservation and creation.

The Awards are open to all Directors (or equivalent level position), both IoD members and non-members, from within the private, public and voluntary sectors, across the whole of the East of England of the IoD.
Entering the awards comes with benefits, you will receive positive press coverage opportunities to help raise your business profile throughout the entire awards process as well as network will fellow business leaders.
There is a wide variety of awards open for entry such as;
Director of the Year – SME
This award is designed to celebrate those directors working in a business that employs under 250 employees and has an annual turnover of less than £10 million.
Director of the Year – New
This award recognises innovative leaders of new or established businesses who have operated at director level for less than two years and demonstrated the potential, ability, ambition, creativity and vision in their business.
Director of the Year – Start-Up
This award celebrates founders/co-founders of the UK’s most promising start-ups. Focusing on the market opportunity identified, the model to capitalise on it, and how it has been executed within the first three years of trading.
Director of the Year – Innovation
This award recognises leaders that have developed an innovative and transformational idea that displays creative thinking and that has beaten the competition and been developed and applied to improve commercial performance, operational effectiveness or customer engagement.
