[intro]

Open until 12th February 2018, the survey looks at the extent to which good productivity practice is integrated into the culture of UK SME manufacturing businesses. With the desire to drive up productivity still very much on the government agenda, the results should help demonstrate the level of support that the UK manufacturing sector requires in order to meet productivity objectives and make sustainable improvements.
Last quarter’s Barometer productivity focus revealed that manufacturers wanted to prioritise getting more out of their existing people and processes over investing in automation and robotics.
Aiming to further understand UK manufacturers’ priorities on a national and local level – building on outcomes of previous Manufacturing Barometers – the National Manufacturing Barometer takes no more than 15 minutes to complete and is open to all small to medium sized manufacturers in the UK. All senior managers need to do to participate is visit www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Winterst2017.
