The South East Midlands Start-up Programme (SEMSUP), funded by the European Regional Development Fund, gives residents of Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire with free access to 12 hours of support for new business owners.

This programme gives you free access to 12 hours of free business support to help you start your own business.

partnership with us and The University of Bedfordshire

Who is this programme for?
This free package of business start-up support is available to any resident of Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire. All regions within the SEMLEP area that is starting a new business. Whether you’re a budding dog walker, scientist, shop owner or accountant, the support still applies. We can help you register your company!
You don’t have to be a registered company in order to access this package of support. Simply get in touch and we can also help you register your business if you wish.
Grants
If you are starting a business and registered with ‘The South East Midlands Start-up Programme’, you could be eligible for a ‘match-funded’ business start-up grant ranging from £500 to £3000* to help you get things set up. This grant can be used towards any start-up or development costs which can be attributed to your new business such as:
Marketing and promotional support
Website development
Professional/legal advice
Financial planning/advice
Intellectual property advice
Software applications
