Meet the
Business Support

Based within the Development Hub, Cliftonville Road, the University’s Business Support team offers a wide range of business support services to the Northamptonshire community and to the students and staff of the University. We also support social enterprises on a national scale, through the University’s Inspire2Enterprise brand.

We are a team of experienced, accredited advisers with customer-focused support staff – providing information, advice and guidance to entrepreneurs and businesses at all stages of their development – from pre-start to scale-up. Helping clients across Northamptonshire to start and grow their business with the right solutions to meet their needs.

What happens when you call us?

An adviser will ask you a number of questions in order to understand your business and the stage of its development and growth in order to ascertain how we can best meet your needs.

We will then provide you with information and/or links to relevant resources. You’ll find FREE resources on this website and our business advisers will make sure you have access to the most appropriate support. They will also signpost you to appropriate training opportunities, workshops and events where you can learn from specialists and other Northamptonshire-based businesses.

We are with you every step of the way

When you contact us, we don’t just point you in the right direction. As part of our proactive approach, our advisers may refer you to relevant local, national and EU grant funded business support and development programmes. We will then follow up with you to establish whether the referred programme or contact was appropriate and to offer further support if required. Our site will keep you up-to-date with the latest information to support your business growth. This is supported by our social media activity, and you can also sign up here to receive our regular newsletter.
